This is an re-edit of a scene from the classic silent movie "Metropolis", which was made in 1927.

Those who have seen this movie will understand that picture.
Those who haven't seen it and are interested can watch it on youtube and I'll give you a short description of that scene: Machines where intentionally build to serve mankind, but the reality now is, mankind lives to serve the machine (at least the lower class of people). Think of an assembly-line workers nowadays.

In that scene a worker collapses from exhaustion because of working too hard and too long on the machine. Desperately he tried to get back to work and said: "...the machine! There MUST be a man on the machine!..." There is nobody who could help and make his work for him and we all know what happens to a worker who can't work anymore (in this movie he'll get feed to the machine). But than, from the world of the upper class came the most holy Rei and said: "There will be a man on the machine...ME"
